treffn is a free app for iOS to help you spend more time with your friends. It uses the smart in your phone to make arranging meetings fast, easy and convenient. With only three clicks, treffn arranges and invites you and your friends to meet. Following the invite, all participants will see the meeting’s location, a detailed route, and individual arrival times.
treffn is not in the App store yet. If you’re interest in Early Access to the most convenient way to arrange meetings, please sign up for our beta program.
After signing up for treffn Early Access, you will receive an email with a button “Open in Testflight”.
Fortunately, your problem can be easily solved: Instead of starting treffn from within TestFlight by tapping “Open”, please leave TestFlight and open treffn by double-tapping on its icon – just like any other app. (the icon looks just like the icon in the top left corner of this site)

Every time your friends invite you with treffn, we need to let you know. With push notifications turned off you won’t get any invites as well as no updates in the chat. Please refer to our tutorial on how to turn push notification on.
To invite someone to your current location, treffn needs to know where you are. We do not store or process this information in any way except to provide you functionality. For example, we use that information to give you directions and calculate travel duration.
With the help of your address book, treffn identifies and displays contacts who are also using treffn. But do not worry: No names, photos, email addresses, birthdays etc. will leave your phone, only phone numbers. And even those in an encrypted format. No one, not even we, can deduct anyone’s real phone number from what we transmit.

If the quality of the picture is bad, simply go to your profile and select the same photo as your profile picture again. Treffn will then create a high-quality version for use in the app.
You will have to use the iOS Task Manager to do that:

It will send a text message with an invitation and a link to a mobile website that offers nearly the same functions as the app. The message is sent via your mobile network provider to you guest and you need to confirm it.

No, to send an invitation it is mandatory to know the other person’s mobile phone number. With treffn you cannot select persons outside of your personal contacts.

No, treffn needs to register your device. It requires your phone number to generate an individual ID. To verify your device treffn sends a PIN via text message once.
The ID is used to send messages and to link meetings with your device. But treffn’s database doesn’t store you name, phone number nor your position.
